Finally completing climbing wall at Cheng Kung campus! though it was the easiest course, I'm super happy now. because I conquered an acrophobia.
When I reached at certain hight. The acrophobia made me feel dizzy and weaken my hand's power, I even felt nausea, but my coach and frinds encouraged me from ground, which really pushed my back.

因為我到頂同時克服我的恐高症。
我到固定的高度時, 覺得頭暈,沒有力量,甚至吐意也有。 可是今天從後面我的教練們鼓勵我，那個聲音推了我的背。

Since I started to read English news papers, I just realized that Japanese infomation is controled by Japanese goverment,,,,or something hidden big power.

Infomation which is writen in Japanese is rather reliable, drastically accurate, and well detailed. I am sure you can trust them. However, the amount of Japanese infomation is way less than English one. Now what I feel about is...in the ratio of 1 to 100. Moreover, Japanese information is unbelievably "slow."

People need to complain about it. Being patient is not always right.

2人は2月に台北市内で酒に酔いタクシーに乗車、シートベルト着用などをめぐり口論となり、被害者を殴る蹴るなどして重傷を負わせた。

検察は2人を重傷害罪で起訴、友寄被告には懲役2年執行猶予5年、川島被告には懲役1年4カ月執行猶予4年をそれぞれ求刑したが、台北地裁は普通傷害罪として判決を下した。

両被告の弁護士はいずれも「判決を尊重する」と述べ、控訴する意向はないことを表明、また暴力行為の中心となった友寄被告は、謝罪し罪を認め、賠償と法的責任を果たすと強調しているという。

原告の台北地検は、判決の詳細を確認した上で控訴するかどうかを決めるとコメントしている。

両被告と被害者は300万台湾ドル（約830万円）で和解が成立しており、台日ハーフタレントとして活躍していた川島被告は、事件後に就労資格を取り消された。

Singer-actress Makiyo escapes jail term for assaulting Taiwan taxi driver

A Taiwanese court on Thursday handed down a three-year suspended sentence to a Japanese-Taiwanese star for attacking a Taipei taxi driver in a case that has captivated celebrity watchers for months.

Singer-actress Makiyo received a lighter sentence than the four-year jail term prosecutors had sought as the Taipei district court found her guilty of common assault rather than aggravated assault, a court official said.

Her friend Takateru Tomoyori, a Japanese citizen, got a four-year suspended sentence for injuring the driver in the assault in Taipei on Feb 2.

The case had stirred a rare bout of anti-Japanese sentiment in Taiwan, which was a Japanese colony until 1945. Tokyo formally recognizes Beijing over Taipei.

Makiyo’s lawyer told reporters outside the court that the entertainer respected the ruling and had yet to decide whether to appeal.

Makiyo, 27, who is known just by her first name, initially denied assaulting the driver and claimed that Tomoyori was defending her after the driver touched her chest during an argument.

However, public anger mounted after surveillance camera footage showed that Makiyo joined in the assault and seemed to have encouraged her friend to beat up the driver, who was hospitalized for several weeks for head trauma.

She later apologized and said she did not remember the details because she was drunk.

Makiyo, who was born to a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother and holds Japanese citizenship, has not been able to work on the island since the authorities revoked her working permit in the wake of the case.

友寄想留台開拉麵店

Makiyo和友寄感謝法院給自新機會，友寄說，經過85天的自我反省，他深感愧疚，自知要取得傷者與其家屬的原諒是困難的事，他自己做得不夠好，仍會請台灣的朋友安排致歉；據悉，友寄不打算離台，想在台北東區開拉麵店。

記者昨無法聯繫上 Makiyo，她的委任律師徐鈴茱轉述，Makiyo心情平靜，對刑度沒意見，會持續關心運將的病況，感謝法院給她機會，這是公平及公正的判決；至於法院裁定「保護管束」，將等收到判決再斟酌。台北地檢署則說，收到判決後會決定是否上訴。

運將林余駿的妻子昨說「得饒人處且饒人！」未再批評兩人，但是否上訴則未說死，只說下個月丈夫頸部還要動刀，將和律師討論是否上訴。她並鞠躬感謝大家關心幫忙，她說，丈夫仍有頭暈、頸痛及手麻等現象。律師周武榮補充，林余駿開刀後狀況不穩定，若傷勢惡化，會考慮上訴。

Makiyo、湘瑩、丫子和友寄隆輝，2月2日酒後搭林余駿的計程車，Makiyo因未繫安全帶及要求開快車，最後引爆友寄、Makiyo聯手踹毆運將，檢方將2人依「重傷害未遂罪」起訴，求刑6年、4年。

法院審理時，將重傷害未遂罪改為普通傷害罪，關鍵理由是，考量被害人傷勢及兩人下手時，是否有拿兇器，或打人時是否有重傷害故意。

法院審酌，林余駿的傷勢鑑定為頭皮擦傷、蜘蛛網膜下腔出血、硬腦膜下腔出血、腦震盪、左胸骨膜斷裂及胸部挫傷等，並沒有造成肢體毀敗等重大難治或不治的重傷害。

法院另勘驗打人錄影帶，無法確定兩人刻意攻擊運將頭、胸等危險部位，運將有可能因自我防衛而蜷曲翻滾，閃躲攻擊，兩人有可能不慎攻擊到他的頭、胸等部位，加上兩人未拿兇器，認定不構成重傷害未遂罪。

300萬和解 緩刑關鍵

但法院認為Makiyo應訊時稱當天太醉記不得的說法是「卸責」，Makiyo身為藝人不知謹言慎行，犯後沒送對方急救，還揚長而去，行為不該；但法官考量兩人雖說謊，最後仍坦承犯案，在台灣也沒前科，最終以300萬元談成民事和解，因此給予緩刑。

兩人還被交付保護管束

法院也下令，緩刑期間交付保護管束，在判決確定後，兩人必須定時向地檢署觀護人報到，判決確定後，地檢署執行科可斟酌，是否以驅逐出境代替保護管束。

兩人雖獲判緩刑，但仍被限制出境，近期無法離台；Makiyo向法院聲請解除限制出境，但法院尚未裁定，友寄則未聲請。

Here is a good example of deference between "of" and "about."

As an example, I came across a sentence that read:

Seven Pillars was a story about the Arab Revolt and not the story of the Arab Revolt

then sombody replied to it, take a look below.

Answer:
I think when you say "story about the Arab Revolt" you mean a story which just has something to do with it; for example you can talk about how a specific common man or a building was affected by the revolt and in this case you would tell that man`s story or the story OF that building ( genitival use ) and in the same time a story ABOUT the Arab Revolt.
If you say "story of the Arab Revolt" you are talking about its history, the way it happened, chronological facts and such.

Another difference that of/about can make in certain contexts:

"The magician asked me to think of a number" - to imagine a number
"My partner asked me to think about buying more stock " - to consider this idea, give it more thought..


So, in conclusion, "of" is something that belongs to you, and is close to you. Meanwhole "about" is used when you want to make the thing be a subject which is separated from you.

米沿岸警備隊は、どうしてアラスカ海岸で去年の3月11日以降漂流していた「魚運丸」に対して、わざわざ25mm砲キャノンを発射する必要があったのでしょうか？
普通に牽引”tow”して引き揚げ”salvage”て日本に送り返せなかったのでしょうか。
CNNとフォックスニュース、　ABCを見てみました。

フォックスニュースでは
「北アメリカ・アジア間の通航量の多いこの海域で、座礁したり、他の汽船に危険を及ぼす事を考えれば、沈ませたほうが良い」

という米沿岸警備隊の判断があったと伝えられています。
更に,Paul Webb報道官は

「船にはライトも通信システムもなく、2000ガロンを貯蔵できる燃料タンクがあるが、燃料がどれくらい残って
いるかわからなかった。」

と、このような説明をしたとあります。

ABCニュースによりますと、
「環境汚染や事故を誘因する危険性を今のうちから軽減するほうが、より安全である。」と米沿岸警備隊代表の下士官Charley Hengen はAP通信に伝えているとのことです。

これらの判断は何も米沿岸警備隊だけの判断ではなく、
”The National Oceanic and atmospheric administration”と”the Environmental Protection Agency” の「一番良い手段は、キャノンを用いて少しの燃料も海上で気化させないように船を沈ませる事だろう」という意見を参考にした結果、この判断に至ったとあります。

しかーし、かといって、燃料タンクの調査も何もしていませんし、
本当は何かそれ以外にも理由がありそうです。

今後報道が発展する可能性は低いと思いますが、面白いので見ていこうと思います。

The breaking news of Japanese ship sinking shocked me, cuz I am a kind of Japanese.
Why they didn't salvag the ship, and give it back to Japan?
Although the news surprised me, I am not angry at all. I am just curious about the reason they sank the meaningful ghost ship. Let's see the articles of CNN and FOX.

The U.S. Geological Survey and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration advised the Coast Guard where the ship's sinking would have the least environmental impact."The potential for a pollution incident is unknown at this time, but officials have limited concerns about any biological threats due to the length of time the vessel has been at sea," the Coast Guard said in a statement.The Coast Guard has been　continuously broadcasting the vessel's location to mariners. It will continue the warnings through Friday morning until it conducts an aerial survey to determine its sinking left behind no potentially hazardous debris, Mosley said.The trawler's planned sinking was temporarily halted Thursday morning when the Coast Guard ship, the Anna Kappa, based out of Petersburg, Alaska, arrived to find a Canadian ship inspecting the trawler.
"They wanted to claim the vessel for salvage," Mosley said."At that point, there was a meeting to discuss whether they had the means to tow or salvage the vessel," he said. "They determined it would be too unsafe. At that point, they were asked to leave the area."The Anna Kappa opened fire Thursday afternoon with its 25 mm cannons, blowing holes into the side of the Ryou-Un Maru, the Coast Guard said.It took more than four hours for the trawler to sink.

Officials decided to sink the ship, rather than risk the chance of it running aground or endangering other vessels in the busy shipping lanes between North America and Asia.
The ship had no lights or communications system and its tank was able to carry more than 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel. Officials, however, didn't know how much fuel, if any, was aboard."It's less risky than it would be running into shore or running into (maritime) traffic," Webb said.The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency studied the problem and decided it is safer to sink the ship and let the fuel evaporate in the open water.

-ABC-“It’s safer to mitigate the risks now before there’s an accident or environmental impact,” Coast Guard spokesman Petty Officer Charley Hengen told The Associated Press

The decision came after a review by The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency determined the best course of action would be to sink the ship with cannons and let any fuel evaporate in the open water.

From time to time, an enormous wave of depression comes to my mind, and it makes me think about who I am.
Now I desperately looked at my calender, it is already April 6th. I've gotta do something. I don't think I'm only killing time here, but I just feel like doing more things now, becauze I am still 26 years old. Keep you busy man, you can do many kinds of activitiies here except studying.
